About Me
My practice is devoted to rekindling hope in the lives of my clients.
For 38 years, I have served individuals, couples, families and groups, helping them reduce fear and chaos to heal from depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional/mood difficulties, and other issues. My goal is to pinpoint the areas that need the most attention in the lives or relationships of my clients, reaching to the heart of issues that cause pain, so that true healing is possible.
Aside from my private practice, my experience as a therpist includes my work as director of a community-based pastoral counseling center in upstate New York, as an instructor at Smith College School of Social Work, and as clinical supervisor and consultant to other counseling centers and therapists. I have served as a consultant to employee assistance programs and as a hospital chaplain. I have also presented a wide variety of educational seminars to several different communities. Despite the wide range of my experience, I most enjoy working with people directly in my private practice.
